This course contains chosen topis in Risk Analysis:
Introduction - motivation and definitions
Probability - basic concepts in probability
Multivariate, Copula - modeling joint distributions
Homogeneous and Non-Homogeneous Poisson processes
Bayesian and classical estimation
Software reliability - application of techniques discussed to software reliability
Fault trees - model often used in risk analysis of engineering structures
Bayesian belief nets - more flexible model than FT model allowing dependence between variables with more than two states
Dependent failures
Expert Judgment
Toetsing
Written exam (75%) and Assignments (25%) .
In case of an insufficient result, repair opportunities may be offered in accordance with TER Implementation Regulations Art 5, sub 5
