The Sustainable Development Goals raise the agenda to put more effort in finding solutions for Global Challenges. Technology is often considered a solution for the global challenges, however, the success of technology to resolve the challenges often varies with the organizational implementation.

In the absence of proper organizational embeddedness, the technology solution is ill-fated and rebound effects in technology adoption will be the result among local communities. In this course we focus on the local organizational embeddedness of technology innovation and adoption to target global challenges.

A solid fit between technology and local needs, embeddedness among stakeholder communities and backed by effective support organizations will increase the likelihood of successful implementation of Technology for Global Challenges.

In this course, you will learn about examples of organizational and entrepreneurial activity to address global challenges and you will work on challenges for which you will assess inclusive business models.
