Start-up Challenge
Beschrijving
During the course/competition, you will focus on identifying a customer for your product or service and building a case for how your product addresses a customer problem or an unmet need. You will also perform a market analysis for this business idea. More specifically, you will assess the competitive advantage of your team and your product and the market size and segmentation, among other things.
The focus of the course is on customer discovery and business model development. You should be talking to a lot of customers and stakeholders, thereby aggressively learning about the market you plan to enter. Throughout the course you will have an opportunity to present your project idea to industry professionals.
Summary
This course is a part of a TU Delft startup competition. If you would like to participate in this course, you have to be a part of the contest. This means you have to have an idea for a business that you would like to develop, and apply for the competition (either individually or as a team).
Also, note that the competition (and course) runs through periods 3 and 4. It usually starts around the beginning of March and ends in the first week of June. The timeline for the competition is published well in advance.
