Quantum Engineering Group Project

We will start this course with an overview and introduction to cloud-based quantum computing and online systems for quantum information such as simulators. Students will then work in groups of 4-5 and will first focus on getting acquainted with the software. After that, students will focus on a quantum information science project, and work as a scientific project. Students will become familiar with software and quantum information concepts departing from the concepts learned during the preceding courses in the minor.

The assessment is based on project planning (10%), project execution (50%), written report (25%) and presentation (15%). A peer review is conducted as part of the final assessment and used to establish individual marks.
