Quantum Physics

Elementary quantum mechanics; Schrödinger equation, simple quantum mechanical systems, angular momentum, spin, many-particles/many-spin systems.

The students take four tests during the course, with the final grade being an average of the grades for the tests. The homework is not mandatory, but can be taken into account with the weight of 15% if it improves the final grade (in this case the final grade will be determined as 0.15*[average homework grade] + 0.85*[average test grade]). If the students want to improve their final grade, then they can take a resit exam over the content of the whole course, and the final grade will be the maximum of the two grades, the average grade over the tests and the grade for the resit exam.
