In this course, we will concentrate on lasers and photodetectors and their applications in several areas of research and technology. The course will include light matter interaction, working principles and design of lasers and photodetectors, different types of lasers (gas, solid state, liquid) and photodetectors

Toetsing

Small project (20%) and final exam (80%) and tests during class (5% bonus)
