Extramural Sensing and Virtual Stimulation

The course TM12006 Extramural Sensing and Virtual Stimulation focusses on how technological advances in medical monitoring and interventions can extend the possibilities from clinical to trans- and extramural healthcare. Especially in the field of rehabilitation medicine, in which the unmet needs of the patient are explored by using the bio-psycho-social model, development towards home-based monitoring and interventions is crucial for optimizing clinical outcome. Students are challenged to unravel the unmet needs of complex patient cases and to present a proper solution within this technological field.
