Medical Skills in Daily Practice

This course focuses on the training of basic medical technical skills and professional skills to meet the requirements for the BIG-registration and develop competency in the medical profession.

Professional skills:

- Sterility and rules of conduct on the OK

Medical technical skills:

- Suturing

- Bladder catheterization

- Vena punction and IV cannulation

The technical modules are structured as follows

1.E-learning module

2.Practising of skill

3.Test

Key: For admission to the test of the modules, the student must have followed the e-learning modules and have practiced each technical module at three practice sessions.

Contribution to learning outcomes:

A3, A5, A6, B2, B5, D1,F4,F7

The final grade consists of:

- Demonstration of medical skills (pass or fail)

- Demonstration of professional skills (pass or fail)
