Visual Data Processing

Visual data is a broad category, including images, videos, geometry and other data forms that contribute to visual content. This course will teach you the theory, methods, and also possibilities that such data sets offer. Several example applications will be implemented in the accompanying practical sessions.

The final grade of the course consists of the following components:

- Group Assignments (weighting 50%)

- Digital Exam (weighting 50%)

Final grade calculation = 0.5x Group Assignments + 0.5x Digital Exam

A passing final grade for the course can only be earned if both components are at least a 5.0 and the weighted final grade (rounded to 0.5) is at least a 6.

As a repair according to TER Art5.5 (limited to 6.0, accessible to students with their assignment grade in the qualifying range) an alternative individual project will be offered to replace the assignments in the quarter following the course.
