Medical Design

This course is part of the Minor Programme MedTech-Based Entrepreneurship. It merges foundational principles of medical design with advanced applications and innovations. Students explore theoretical frameworks, design methodologies, regulatory considerations, and technological integration in the development of medical products and systems. Key themes include creative problem solving, user-centered design, and the application of design methods to real-world case studies across the lifecycle of medical products.

Assessment is based on:

• Participation in class and group activities.

• A comprehensive design project including prototype, documentation, and presentation.

• A reflective report and peer feedback component.
  Individual grades may differ based on contribution and fairness.
