MedTech Integration Project 2
Beschrijving
This course is the second part of the Integration Project within the MedTech-Based Entrepreneurship minor. Building on the foundation from Part 1, you now move into experimentation and implementation. The focus is on testing, validating, and refining your MedTech startup or client project using real-world input.
You will continue working in teams to further develop your product, business model, and system fit. This phase emphasizes deeper engagement with stakeholders—gathering feedback to improve your solution and strengthen your business case. You’ll also assess how your innovation impacts patients, healthcare providers, and the broader system, while considering safety, ethical, and regulatory aspects.
There is room for personal coaching, team reflection, and applying your knowledge from across the minor (including medical design, finance, and health systems). You will revise and complete your marketing and operational plans, and develop a clear communication strategy, including visual materials for different target groups.
This phase ends with two major deliverables: a professional business plan and a set of tailored pitches that clearly explain your innovation’s value to different stakeholders.
Key outcomes of Integration Project 2:
Refine your innovation based on feedback from real stakeholders
Evaluate the impact, safety, and system fit of your solution within healthcare
Create a website/ brochure to communicate your concept to patients, hospitals, or other key users
Finalize and present a strong, professional business plan
Deliver clear and convincing sales and technical pitches, tailored to different audiences
