MedTech Integration Project 1

This part of the minor MedTech Based Entrepreneurship has the character of a project or internship.

During the total integration course and the bar is set high, because you always have to get the best out of yourself as an entrepreneur. The self-strengthening cooperation between students and teachers is of great importance in this regard. Self-reliance, proactive behavior and an entrepreneurial attitude contribute to the end result. The intention is that the students prepare themselves to be able to set up their own business or carry out an assignment for a start-up in the MedTech sector. You must literally and figuratively leave the campus.

Three process steps form the basis of the integration course: exploring, experimenting and implementing.

In the first quarter the emphasis is on exploring and experimenting with an eye for implementation.

During the second quarter (TBM044b) the focus shifts to experimenting and implementation, while an open and exploratory attitude remains important. It also offers the space for personal coaching and guidance.

Each group of 4 or 5 students will go through the following steps:

1. Consider multiple ideas for your own startup or client

2. Designing and developing a technological innovation

3. Developing business models

4. Testing the ideas and business models in practice (Validation with stakeholders)

5. Prepare a marketing plan

6. Describe the operational plan

7. Making a financial plan

8. Process points 3, 5, 6 and 7 into a business plan

9. Pitching the end result
