Case Study in Technopreneurship
Beschrijving
The Case Analysis of a Technological Enterprise (TBM017A) forms the integration moment of the Minor Technology-Based Entrepreneurship (MOT-MI-088-19), in which the learned knowledge and skills from the individual minor courses (modules) come together. Nothing is as instructive as getting to work yourself to apply all the knowledge learned. The goal is to develop an (own) innovative idea into a realistic market proposition. Each team, consisting of 5 students from different disciplines, comes up with an innovative product idea and develops it on the basis of assignments and examples. The guiding principle for this course is the Disciplined Entrepreneurship method of Bill Aulet. This textbook is mandatory and will be used cover-to-cover. The book is accessible online via TU Delft library account. However, it is advisable to buy the paper version of this book so that you can quickly browse it and paste Post-It's and take notes in relevant places. It is a useful purchase because you will often fall back on it.
The integration course ends with the delivery and presentation of a business plan in which the idea is described, but especially the way in which it meets a need and how you will meet it.
Following individual courses in this minor is not allowed, the teacher of the course can make an exception in different cases.
