University Research Project

University Research Project (SET4400) is a small research project on a sustainable energy engineering topic carried out within a research group at Delft University of Technology. The project has a study load of 15 EC, with an equivalent maximum full-time duration of 3 months, this includes writing the final report.

General guidelines are that it should concern a design, model, system integration or methodology implementation, or an experimental study relevant for the research group involved. The topic should fall within at least one of the profiles of the chosen Profile Cluster. Literature study can only be a minor part of the project.

• The student needs to write a scientific report during the University Research Project (SET4400) and send it to the TU Delft supervisor on the final day of the project.

• The student needs to write a reflection note and a testimonial and send these documents, together with the scientific report, to the responsible instructor, on the final day of the project.

• The TU Delft supervisor needs to send the assessment form to the responsible instructor, within two weeks after receiving the documents from the student.

• When the responsible instructor has received the two reports and the assessment form, your grade will be processed within a week.

  The University Research Project (SET4400) will be graded with a pass or a fail (not numerically).
  
  Resit/ Repair opportunities:
  In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations, for:
