Approximate syllabus:

- quantum states, unitary operations, and measurements;

- universal gate sets;

- entanglement, Bell test;

- basic quantum communication protocols;

- basic quantum algorithmic techniques and basic quantum algorithms;

- principles of quantum error correction and basic quantum error correction protocols

Toetsing

The final grade for the final exam is composed of the homework assignment grades (total of 30%), online quiz grades (total of 10%) and the grade obtained for the final exam (60%). A minimum grade of 5.0 (unrounded) for the final exam is required to pass the course.

The final grade for the resit exam consists of the resit exam grade only (100%). In other words, grades for homework and quizzes do not count towards the final grade of the resit exam.
