Bachelor Thesis Project

The Bachelor End Project (BEP) is the last part of your Bachelor of Science in Nanobiology. In this project the knowledge and skills learned in the first two years are applied on a level that enables you to successfully follow a connecting Master programme.

The assessment is based on:

• Work done in the lab

• A report (see document BEP thesis guidelines in Brightspace page for Thesisoffice TNW)

• A final presentation usually 20-30 min open to the public.

• A defense. A 30-45 minute closed session with student and assessment committee where student can defend their thesis.

This committee will consist of at least two examiners that are member of scientific staff (tenured or tenure track).

1. The responsible supervisor is one of the examiners.

2. Both examiners must be on the Nanobiology GreenList, one must be a teacher in the Nanobiology bachelor or master programme as indicated on the GreenList.

The teaching member of the assessment committee must be identified at the time of application submission.
