Biophysics Techniques B

This practical course aims to familiarize you with biofysica techniques and protocols in the lab, data analysis, lab safety, scientific writing and reporting and professional behavior in the laboratory.

Your grade will be the weighted average of the following 3 elements:

1. Professional lab behavior and active participation (20 % of the grade), assessed in class
   This includes adherence to safety rules and preparation before practicals

2. Lab journals and assignments (40 % of the grade), assessed after class.
   This includes the quality of the lab journals and assignments on scientific writing.

3. Plan and report on open experiment (40 % of the grade), assessed prior and after class

   This includes the quality of the proposal, peer review and the poster.

All elements should be passed with a passing grade 5.0, and an overall grade of 5.8 is required to pass the course. Partial grades are not transferable to following years.

You are required to attend all practical sessions in order to complete this course. If you find yourself unable to attend you must contact the Studieadviseur-NB <Studieadviseur-NB@tudelft.nl> prior to the practical you need to miss. We offer a redo of a practical session once during the course.
