In this course, we will see various topics which will be important in the rest of your study, e.g. in the Mechanics & Optics course (NB1325). In particular, we will talk about

• integration techniques like substitution, integration by parts, and partial fractions, including improper integrals,

• separable and first-order linear differential equation,

• complex numbers,

• second order linear differential equations,

• sequences and series

• comparison test, alternating series test, and ratio test for convergence of series,

• power series and Taylor series

• multivariate functions,

• partial derivatives and the chain rule,

• line integrals of scalar and vector fields.
