ME-EFPT Literature Research

The EFPT Literature Study is integrated with the Thesis and must be conducted simultaneously with ME5035. Students must therefore be eligible to start ME5035 in order to start the Literature Study.

The Literature Study positions the student to carry out the research project in their Thesis. This includes performing a search of the relevant scientific literature, formulating a well-posed research question, and developing a research plan to answer the question.

Students will also study how other researchers approach problems related to EFPT by attending 8 department colloquia.

T3 Colloquium Attendance (pass/fail)

The report should serve as the (nearly) complete first chapter of the student’s thesis. The presentation will summarize the report and will be assessed by a jury of staff members from the Process en Energy Department.
