Precision Motion Systems and Control

This course offers a comprehensive exploration of modern modeling and control strategies used in precision motion systems, with strong emphasis on both theoretical understanding and practical application. It is designed for students with a foundation in Mechatronic Systems Design (MSD) and Systems & Control, building on this knowledge to tackle advanced topics relevant to state-of-the-art industrial applications.
Toetsing
The course is fully project-based and requires student to work with Matlab and Simulink. At the end of each module, students will complete a mini-project that reflects the learning outcomes of that module.
• These mini projects will be collected and graded as the main form of assessment.
• This approach encourages active learning and provides continuous feedback on student progress.
