Intro lab PME

This course consists of 3 parts:

part a) Introduction week, planned in the first week of the academic year: from Monday through Thurday (4 days)

part b) Complete 3 practicals (of one or two morning or afternoon sessions, sometimes with a plenary session as introduction of the subject)

the organized practicals will most likely include:

1. Introduction to LaTeX

2. Labview (Q1)

3. MatLab (Q1), to be confirmed

4. PLC (Q1 and/or Q2)

5. Computational Methods (Q2)

6. Python (Q3)

7. Surface Roughness (Q3)

8. Modal analysis of microsystems (Q3)

9. Linear Motor (Q4)

part c) Information and feedback meetings to:

• evaluate the past quarter/semester (Q2/Q4).

• explain the second year/ how to find a Thesis Project including explanation of our rules and regulations (Q4).

• a Master Thesis Market (Q4 1^st week).

Most practical sessions are assessed by a report and/or a portfolio of generated software source code and/or a demonstration of the workings (in the case of programming activities).

Final grade: Satisfied (Voldaan) / Not Satisfied

You will receive a final grade if you have:

1. Participated in the Introweek.

2. Participated in at least three practicals and finalised report or assignment as indicated for the relevant practical.

3. Participated in the two information and feedback meetings.
