Master Thesis Project

The student has to work independently on a research project. This project is specialisation-specific.

The work deals with the following aspects:

- Literature study, problem formulation and planning

- Practical and theoretical work in one of the research groups, including interpretation and evaluation of the results

- Oral and written presentation of the work

It will take approximately 8 months. 45 ECs means 32 weeks work. Holiday and other activities may influence the timeframe.

If you want to do MEP in Biotechnology en Society (BTS), you must have sufficient prior knowledge and skills in this area prior to the start of the MEP. Please contact Lotte Asveld (lasveld@tudelft.nl) to check this with a personal conversation.

Student has to write, present and defend a thesis.

IMPORTANT REMARK:

This grading scheme is part of the digital review form that will be filled out by your thesis supervisor. The digital review form concludes with 4 separate questions and corresponding tick boxes:

The student is sufficiently aware of (i) safety, (ii) data safety, (iii) environmental and (iv) ethical regulations and respects these in his/her work.

In case the safety criteria are not met, student will not successfully pass the thesis project.
