Statistiek

The course introduces key concepts of probability and applies them to the formulation of key notions of statistics. We will touch upon the concepts of random variables and their distributions (with examples and application of both discrete and continuous variables), discuss estimation of parameters and what happens if you could have infinitely many samples (aka the law of large numbers and the central limit theorem). We will focus greater attention on statistical testing aimed to check wether two statistical objects are the same.
