Biomechanics of Product Use

In this elective, students will learn to conduct simple biomechanical analyses of human-product interaction. Furthermore, they will learn about how to model, analyze, and evaluate musculoskeletal system of human beings during daily activities and product use. It gives an introduction in the different structures in the body (like bones, ligaments, and tendons), their mechanical properties, and the mechanical load in order to develop design requirements.
