Delft Lectures on Design

This is a faculty core course for all IDE MSc students

TU Delft is a world leading institution in design research. In this course, all first year Design Master students at TU Delft are given the chance to get in touch with the plethora of diverse and cutting edge design research present in the faculty, and further explore its potential for their own future career development.

Delft Lectures on Design highlights current disciplinary issues against the background of the larger societal conditions that have an inevitable impact on design practice. The course comprises a series of interactive talks with researchers of the Delft Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (and/or guest lecturers), who will be addressing how their research insights and expertise link to key contemporary positions in design discourse.
