Structured Electronic Design Laboratory

This lab is a master class in electronic design. Selected students design and fully simulate an amplifier. Design reviews are organised every week. In a small group (5-6) results are discussed, special topics addressed and more complicated design problems tackled. This course offers the students the opportunity to refine their skills as an electronic designer. Enrollment is limited and restricted. Applicants are evaluated before acceptance, and should have sufficient standing (grade 8 or higher) in course "Structured Electronic Design", EE4109.

The assessment is done via the design report made during the masterclasses with SLiCAP in which the design is fully documented and the oral defense thereof. The grade is based on the quality of the work (70%) and the performance during the oral defense (30%) of the design.

In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A, Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations.
