Photovoltaic Lab Course

The aim is to offer you an advanced practical course on solar cells and photovoltaic systems. The following areas of practical training will be part of the course:

1. The characteristics of artificial and natural light sources.

2. The characterisation of the performance of lab-scale solar cells.

3. The behaviour of photovoltaic modules in different temperature and shading conditions

4. The charge and discharge properties of batteries.

5. The performance of power electronic components (charge controllers, inverters, maximum power point trackers).

6. The operation of entire photovoltaic systems.
