Research Project at Industry
Beschrijving
The Research Project at Industry is a project of up to 15 credits with clear goals and objectives to take place in a company. The Research Project at Industry offers students the opportunity to enhance lab skills (such as specific training), academic skills (such as writing a paper for publishing or participating in a conference with a presentation or paper), or studying special topics related to the field of Electrical Engineering.
The deliverable of this project is a final report, but can also include prototypes, simulation files, and other materials, as agreed with the supervisor depending on the project.
Note 1: If the student decides to follow the MSc thesis at the same company, the Research Project at Industry can be used as a preparation, but not as part of the thesis project. A clear distinction between the two projects must be made.
Note 2: the Research Project at Industry can only be taken as part of the free electives.
Note 3: The supervisor needs to be part of the scientific staff within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science. This means they need to be a Full Professor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor.
