AC Machines

The following subjects are discussed:

- winding function and inductances;

- time and spatial harmonics;

- skin effect in electrical machines;

- phasor, space vector and transformation in electrical machines;

- the salient pole synchronous machine;

- modeling and simulation of the dynamic performance of DC and AC machines.

Oral exam

In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A, Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations.
