Elektronische Schakelingen
Beschrijving
This course is intended to provide gain insight, in a structured way, in the function of electronics as information-processing technology. The way of modelling will be discussed in relation to the physical characteristics of electronic components, circuits and systems. The course will provide the students with the skills to interpret circuit diagrams and measurement results and formulate specifications for electronic circuits that enable expert electronics designers to take proper design decisions when requested to design a high-performance application specific circuit. The students will learn the terminology that enables them to understand the explanation for these decisions by the experts (and potentially critically review them with respect to system level decisions).
During the course many lecture demonstrations will be given, where the students both can observe the practical behavior of the test object and see what type of measurement equipment is used and how it is operated.
Please note: this is the last academic year this lab will be available.
Toetsing
The exam is multiple-choice.
During the lecture period, there will be one bonus test on oscillators. A pass grade gives a bonus point for the exam. The bonus point remains valid for the re-sit exam.
In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A: Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations 2024-2025.
Disclaimer: information may change depending on unforeseen circumstances or measures (see: TER Art 2, sub 5).
