Hardware Implementation Project
Beschrijving
ET3056TU represents the practical, hands-on phase of a broader project that begins with the project definition course EE3057TU. In this phase, student teams design, build, and test a functional hardware and/or software prototype.
This multi-disciplinary implementation phase invites students to propose and execute their own project ideas within the framework of a minor. Past projects have included the development of rocket propulsion systems later integrated into sounding rockets, and software for autonomous electric race cars.
The course simulates a professional engineering environment, emphasizing not only technical and scientific excellence but also project management skills such as meeting deadlines and optimizing costs. In essence, it is a training in professional realism.
The final prototype is assessed by a panel of internal and external experts based on its technical merit, feasibility, and overall execution.
