Oral Presentation

In job advertisements for engineers applicants are always required to possess excellent communication skills. This means that they should at least be able to present their designs and research results fluently, for example during meetings with clients or with managers in their own company. A good presentation does not only require thorough preparation of content, but also good style. It takes quite a bit of skill to come across understandable for any particular audience and to stay in control of the situation. For this purpose EPA114A Oral Presentation offers students the possibility to gain experience in giving presentations under professional guidance in a small group.

This course is a supportive course and therefore assessment in this course consists of formative feedback only. The presentations are not graded by the lecturers. Students will give a final presentation about the model they designed in the EPA121A course, that will be graded by the lecturers of that course.
