Systems Engineering

This course will introduce students to the V-model, and covers the following topics:

- Problem Formulation

- Requirements specification

- Functional Decomposition

- Means and Morphological Analysis

- Decision Making

- Simulation and modeling

- Risk Analysis

- Testing (plan)

The final grade will be composed of a group grade based on

- midterm review

- case report

- final presentation

In addition, there will be formative assessment (i.e., not graded) in the form of feedback from the TA and Tutor, and peers.

No resit will be offered; instead failing students will be assigned additional tasks to remedy any deficiency.

In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A, Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations.
