Advanced Power Electronics

The focus of this course is on providing both in-depth theories and practical knowledge regarding the power converter design that are not covered in the previous courses. The topics include power converter control, switching behaviour, power loss modelling, passive components, and thermal management.

The lab practicum provides a chance to test the performance of the power switches and control of power converters

Assignments (30%) and project (70%)

In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A, Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations.
