Beschrijving
In this course, we study properties of dynamic systems and how these properties can be influenced via automatic control.
To this aim, we develop mathematical models for the dynamic behavior of systems, with focus on linear models.
We analyze the important system properties both in the time domain and in the frequency domain.
Next, we introduce the concept of feedback control and discuss its effects on the system properties.
Finally, we present some feedback control approaches, including proportional-integral-derivative controllers.
Toetsing
The final grade of the course consists of the following components:
- Written exam (100%);
- Lab assignment (graded pass/fail).
Repair possibilities:
- A resit exam;
- Resit for the lab assignment.
In case of insufficient results a repair option may exist in accordance with Article 2, Examination requirements, Clause 4, of the Implementation Regulations 2024-2025.
