3D Visual Computing
Beschrijving
The course is concerned with 3D visual computing techniques and concepts such as point clouds, meshes, 3D capturing, structure from motion, shape-from-X, multi-view reconstruction, shape analysis, geometric deep learning, radiance fields, image-based rendering etc.
Toetsing
The final grade of the course consists of the following components:
Digital Final Exam (weighting 60%)
Individual Assignments: individual programming assignments (weighting 40%)
Final grade calculation = 0.6 * Digital Exam + 0.4 * Individual Assignments
A passing final grade for the course can only be earned if all components have at least a grade of 5.0 and the weighted average rounded on 0.5 is at least a 6.
In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations, for:
Final Exam: Resit opportunity, either a digital, written or an oral exam, depending on the number of students.
Individual Assignments: A (potentially group) replacement project.
