This course deals with the basic principles and design aspects of sanitary engineering infrastructure. This comprises: drinking water quality and treatment and wastewater characteristics and treatment

Assessment

Online and On-campus assessment forms.

The testing is done by two written partial exams. The first partial exam is done in week 5 and the second in week 8-10.

The partial exams consist of 3 parts testing:

• Knowledge

• Calculations of water treatment processes

• Drawing of treatment schemes

Judgement

50% exam drinking water treatment
50% exam wastewater treatment

The minimum mark for both partial exams is 5.0 for passing.

Re-exam includes both partial exams. Partial marks will not be kept. For more information on grading, see article 14 in the Rules and Guidelines (RGBE):
