Solid Waste to Secondary Material Resources

Concepts in solid waste recycling and waste management, properties of waste sources and streams, materials characterization, sampling principles, waste analysis methodology, mechanical and sensor-based processing and sorting techniques, secondary resources and markets, circularity of materials recovered from solid waste.

Summative computer report on operating a waste recycling plant (1 EC) and final exam on the theory (4 EC). Minimum grade for both parts is 5.75
