Integratievak: Technisch Project

In course CT3103 students work together in small teams (6 students) consisting of students with different BSc backgrounds, thus enabling real integration of knowledge. They will apply their knowledge of processes and products in a realistic project setting, whereas the interaction between project and environment is a central theme. The students learn how to manage an integral project, how to lead a group of students (process- and project management), work together, develop plans, collect data, how to communicate on the project and how to present the intermediate and final results to external parties in a professional way. The goal is to practice skills in (simulated) practice settings and apply the project management methods and techniques from other courses in the minor.

As a result, our project education is about the acquisition of knowledge and competences that are not acquired elsewhere in the curriculum, and has two learning objectives:

LO1: After this course students are able to apply new knowledge on management, business finance, collaboration and legal aspects in order to produce a well thought plan for a good design.

LO2: After this course students are able to evaluate their design on applicability, maintenance and acceptance by stakeholders and the client.
