Economische en Juridische Aspecten van Projecten
Beschrijving
This course will focus on the financial and legal aspects of projects and it consists of 2 parts; CT3102-15 Exam 1 (Legal Aspects of Projects) and CT3102-15 Exam 2 (Financial Aspects of Projects).
CT3102-15 Exam 1 (Legal Aspects):
This course focuses on the legal aspects of projects both at the level of the projects, and at the level of the companies that undertake these projects.
The course covers a wide variety of legal topics including new contracting and procurement methods, administrative law and environmental laws and regulations.
CT3102-15 Exam 2 (Financial Aspects):
This course will explain how investors and lenders determine whether to fund a project.
A.o the following topics will be covered: project finance (=finance at the level of the project; not the stakeholders), financial analysis, optimising the financial structure, financial modelling and project risk management.
Toetsing
There will be 2 partial exams for this course: CT3102-15 Exam 1 (about the legal aspects) and CT3102-15 Exam 2 (about the financial aspects of projects).
Both partial exams count for 50%. The average score of Exam 1 and Exam 2 should be 6 or higher to pass the course.
Permitted materials during exam: Unprogrammed calculators are allowed, as well as English-Dutch dictionaries.
Due to existence the 2 different sub-codes, students can carry forward a partial grade for a sub-course course for averaging with a later grade in the parallel course. Please note that for carry forward a grade 5 or higher is required.
