Research in Software Analysis
Beschrijving
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the field of software analysis, a critical aspect of software development and maintenance. Students will delve into both theoretical foundations and practical applications, learning how to analyze, understand, and improve software systems. The course covers a wide range of techniques, including software model checking, static and dynamic software analysis. Through a hands-on project, students will gain experience in understanding and applying these techniques and presenting them using a scientifically valid methodology.
Toetsing
The final grade of the course consists of the following components:
Group Report (weighting 80%)
Group Presentation (weighting 20%)
Final grade calculation = 0.8 * Group Report + 0.2 * Group Presentation
A passing final grade for the course can only be earned when for all components at least a 5.0 is earned, and the weighted final grade is at least a 5.8.
In case of an insufficient final result, repair options may exist in accordance with Article 17A, Times and number of examinations, sub 1, of the Teaching and Examination Regulations, for:
Group Project Report: Resit opportunity
Group Presentation: Resit opportunity
