Prestressed Concrete

CIEQ5001 replaces CIE4160 Prestressed Concrete, the latter course being discontinued with the introduction of the new MSc Curriculum Civil Engineering in September 2022.

CIEQ5001 contains a subset of the learning objectives of the larger module CIEM5000 Structural Engineering Track Base (15 ECTS), all taken from Learning Unit 1 "Sustainable Construction Members and Systems" and from the 3rd educational period (Q3).

Please notify the lecturer Dr. Barbosa Nunes in advance in case you take this course as student from the old CE-Programme, in order to allow for correct administration of your grade.

Written exam in Q3, resit in Q4, combined with the regular CIEM5000 unit 1 exams. You will be asked to answer the questions related to prestressed concrete only. Please contact Dr. Barbosa well in advance of the written exam to inform her that you will take the exam in the old programme.
