Beschrijving

The CE HOS track addresses the challenges associated with the design, construction and operation of hydraulic and offshore structures by unifying the knowledge from structural, hydraulic, and geotechnical engineering disciplines. The role of the Track Base Module is to equip students with the fundamental knowledge necessary to tackle the engineering challenges associated with the structural design, construction and operation of structures in river, coastal and marine environments.

Toetsing

The Track Base Module is assessed both in Q2 and Q3. The gravity associated with each unit module is as follows,

Waves (HOS-TC-1), Q2 : Written exam [19%]

Fluid-Structure Interaction (HOS TC-2), Q2-Q3 : Group assignment [27%]

Structural Mechanics (HOS-TC-3), Q2 : Written exam [27%]

Soil-Structure interaction (HOS-TC-4), Q3 : Written exam [27%]

A successful participation in the module, requires a minimum evaluation of 5.8 in all units.
