Module B2: Technology, Durability, and Modelling

Module B2 is designed to offer students the opportunity to develop in depth scientific insight into the development of construction materials, their durability, and modelling. Specifically, students will learn about construction materials technology (5EC), degradation mechanisms and durability (5EC) and constitutive modelling (5EC).

You complete the module successfully when passing the following 4 summative assessments:

• B2-1: Construction materials technology written exam (33%)

• B2-2 Durability: Written exam (24%)

• B2-2 Durability: Report (10%)

• B2-3 Constitutive: Oral exam (33%)

A successful participation in the module, requires a minimum evaluation of 5.8 in all units.
