Module B1: Technology, Durability, and Performance

Module B1 is designed to offer students the opportunity to develop in depth scientific insight into the development of construction materials and their behaviour under various environmental and loading conditions. Specifically, students will learn about construction materials technology (5EC), degradation mechanisms and durability (5EC) and imposed deformations (5EC).

Exam

• B1-1: Construction materials technology written exam (33%)

• B1-2 Durability: Written exam (24%)
• B1-2 Durability: Report (10%)

• B1-3 Imposed: Oral exam (33%)

A successful participation in the module, requires a minimum evaluation of 5.8 in all units.
