Computer Arithmetic

The course emphasises on advanced theoretical and practical aspects of computer arithmetic. It covers various topics related to fixed and floating-point number systems, algorithms, and implementations for addition, multiplication, division, square root, and other high order arithmetic operations.

Exam and lab assignments contribute to the final grade as follows:

• written open book exam - 50% of the final grade;

• lab assignments - 50% of the final grade.

Repair option:

Written exam = resit;

Lab assignment = Re-submit deliverables.
