3D Data Acquisition and Analysis (discontinued)

This course provides students with an overview and hands-on experience with 3D spatial data acquisition techniques and methodology for information extraction from 3D data, linked to urban applications.

The course consists of a combination of lectures and peer-to-peer presentations by students. Students work in groups of three on an integrating assignment around a relevant topic about acquisition, information extraction and application. The individual level of the students is assessed by means of a short written exam

Big assignments and a small written exam. The result of the big assignment determines 60% of the final score and the small written exam 40%.
