Presenting Project Facts (discontinued)

The minor Architectural Presentations, BK-MI-198 consists of three successive courses for a total of 15 ECTS. Throughout these courses students explore representation techniques in 2D, 3D and 4D, to communicate architectural projects as they are lived in, moved through and experienced.

In this first part of the minor, students will choose a case study from a number of given architectural precedents. They will work towards a high level of project understanding and present their insights and interpretations by means of a recapitulatory 2D drawing accompanied by an oral presentation.

The students explore the drawing as a product telling a story. By stitching together multiple types of drawing in a total composition, students are able to show different insights into a case study project. The assignment consists of a study of example drawings, the re-drawing of a case study and the composition of a final drawing using the studied techniques.
