Tools for Spaces of Display 2

The Tools Course (BK7067 Tools for Spaces of Display 2) focuses on specific skills that contribute to a coherent design project; a fragment of the building or the interior.

Students learn how to work within the complex combination of these 'tools'. Various workshops and lectures focus on f.i.the analysis of reference projects based on relevant themes,

the position of the designer and the joiner , the design of a fragment of the building or a display element.

During the workshops, specific knowledge of particular use to the design project will be gained from various discrete exercises. Experts will transfer their knowledge in a compact course in which students will be asked to make small studies in order to apply this knowledge directly. Important themes are,the user of the space and the designed fragment, displaying products, the materialization and detailing of the fragment itself. We emphasize the use of scale models as a means of research.
