Coaching for Innovation

Coaching is a key factor for successful innovation. Leading teams, particularly in dynamic and high-stakes environments, places unique and demanding expectations on coaches and leaders.
Different contexts require tailored behaviors and approaches, and this course is designed to prepare you for coaching and leading teams effectively across various settings.

This hands-on course will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful innovation coach and leader. The course learnings will be delivered in an interactive way, with a focus on experiential learning. You will be able to take note of relevant theories and understand how these may work in practice, through exercises and role-plays. Moreover, the course will include multiple sessions of coaching training. The objective of these sessions is to equip you with the necessary skills to coach and manage multidisciplinary project teams. The course is open to both RSM (Rotterdam School of Management - Erasmus University) and TUDelft students, which will further contribute to your skillset in working with people from different backgrounds.

The lectures and coaching training provide foundational skills - taking place in Q3. In Q4 - you will apply these skills intensively in practice. You will coach multidisciplinary teams of Bachelor students (BSc Business Administration and International Business Administration students from RSM and BSc Applied Physics) who are enrolled in the Technology Management course. These coaching sessions, which require significant commitment, offer the unique opportunity to practice your leadership and coaching in a safe learning environment.
